arizona

So during our hiatus we took a much needed trip to Arizona. It was one of my favorite trips ever. Jim and I spent a week there and hiked every day. It was so much fun seeing such a different side of the country with a completely different climate. We didn't know what to do without 100% humidity every day. It also was amazing how we could be in Phoenix, comfortable in shorts and a tshirt, and then drive a few hours north to Sedona and it was snowing. It was amazing. The minute we got on the plane to come home we were already planning our next trip. We hope to go back soon because in a week we were only able to see such a small part of such an awesome state. These are some of our favorite photos from the trip.

We started our trip in Scottsdale. It is north east of Phoenix and is surrounded by the greatest hikes.

Next, we ventured to the Grand Canyon. I won't lie, I cried when I saw it for the first time. It really is incredible and pictures will never do it justice.

Finally we ended in Sedona. Our legs felt like they are about to fall off but Sedona was AMAZING.

If you would like to more photos from the trip, check them out on Gina's blog.
